Vantiv's Executive Officers
Our Executive Team is made up of seasoned financial professionals with a wealth of experience and accomplishments.
Charles joined the company in 2004 as President and was named CEO in 2009 and is responsible for strategy, sales, product development and relationship management. Prior to joining Vantiv, Charles served as executive vice president and COO of STAR Debit Services,
a division of First Data Corporation. He also served as a director for MasterCard and as senior vice president and general manager of Commercial Services at Wells Fargo.
Mark joined Vantiv in 2009, helping lead the company’s separation from Fifth Third Bank and building its finance, accounting, audit and compliance departments. Since February 2015, Mark has served as Vantiv’s Chief Operating Officer responsible for Vantiv’s technology, back-office operations, customer service, and security; recently adding responsibility for the product organization. Mark served as Vantiv’s CFO from 2009 - April 2016.
Prior to Vantiv, he served as CFO with building and infrastructure company, Trow Global Holdings. Mark also held senior positions at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Cendant, First Data Corporation, Western Union and Deloitte.
With more than 20 years of experience in the payments industry, Royal has responsibility for two of the largest business units in Vantiv, including Merchant Services and Financial Institution Services. He joined the company in 2010 from Western Union where he was Executive Vice President and
General Manager with global responsibility for the portfolio of Cash and Electronic, and Consumer to Business payments products. While at Western Union, Royal also led the North American Distribution Network organization.
Larry joined Vantiv in 2014 as Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for the company’s marketing and communications efforts, including corporate and brand marketing, product and channel marketing, demand generation, sales support, insights and thought leadership. Prior to joining Vantiv, Larry held a number of leadership positions at
multinational companies, including serving as global head of commercial marketing and global head of brand management at Visa Inc., chief marketing officer at First Data, and as chief executive officer of the Americas at FutureBrand, a global brand consultancy.
With more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience, Stephanie, our Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for Vantiv’s financial function, including finance, investor relations, treasury and accounting. Prior to serving as Chief Financial Officer, she most recently served as Deputy CFO. In 2013, after leading Vantiv’s financial planning and analysis group,
Stephanie was tapped to serve as general manager of Vantiv’s merchant bank business, which she successfully transformed into one of the company’s fastest growing channels. Prior to Vantiv, Stephanie spent 8 years at Fifth Third Bank in various leadership positions, including as chief financial officer of Fifth Third Processing Solutions. From 1995 to 2001, she worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ned joined Vantiv in June 2010 as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. Ned has global responsibility for the company’s legal affairs as well as regulatory compliance and government affairs, enterprise risk management, merchant risk and underwriting, strategic sourcing and facilities, and internal audit. Prior to joining Vantiv, Ned was a member of the NCR Corporation Legal Team from 1992 to 2010 where he held a
series of roles with increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as Deputy General Counsel. Previously, he was an associate at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey from 1988 to 1992. Ned is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law and Miami University.
Kim joined Vantiv in January of 2015 as Chief Human Resource Officer, responsible for all employee resources including talent development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and performance management. Prior to joining Vantiv, Kim was Vice President, Americas Human Resources and Corporate Functions, at Zimmer Holdings, Inc.;
Executive Human Resources Leader, Monitoring Solutions & Diagnostic Cardiology, at General Electric Healthcare, a subsidiary of General Electric Company; as well as having positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resources at the General Electric Company from 1999-2010.
Matt, who joined Vantiv in 2014 after the Mercury Payment System acquisition, has direct responsibility for the company’s Integrated Payments business as well as Payment Facilitators (PayFacs) and the fast-growing Gaming and Entertainment line. Matt spent five years as CEO of Mercury building the vision and the business with the company’s founders.
He worked his way up from sales and marketing to COO, then CEO. Matt was an Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award winner in 2012, and was named by ColoradoBiz Magazine as one of the top 5 Most Influential Young Professionals in the state.
