CINCINNATI, August 31, 2017 –Vantiv, Inc. (NYSE:VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and technology for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, announced today that it has been ranked by Forbes Magazine as a Fast Tech 25 company for 2017. Vantiv is listed alongside some of the most respected tech companies in the United States.
Every year Forbes ranks the 25 fastest-growing technology companies using a methodology that considers a company’s financial reports to determine the historic sales growth for the past three years as well as projected earnings growth for the next three-to-five years. Vantiv has been ranked number 21 for 2017 of the top 25 tech companies ahead of PayPal, Alphabet and others.
The expansion of Vantiv's distribution channels combined with the scale and efficiency of its integrated platform continued to support its growth and market share gains. Earlier this year, the independent publication, The Nilson Report, also confirmed Vantiv's growth. An analysis of its March 2017 issue confirms Vantiv had increased its share of purchase transactions in the U.S. by 1.7 percent to 21 percent in 2016. Furthermore, the analysis showed Vantiv now processes more debit and credit transactions than any other acquirer in the United States.
