Vantiv a finalist for work in community change

October 16, 2017 – The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber has named Vantiv as a finalist in its inaugural Ignite Action awards. Vantiv is nominated in the “Leading with a Bold Voice for Business” category which recognizes organizations that have led intrepid change in the Cincinnati region, either through public advocacy, new major investments, or significant strategic and innovative change. Other categories include “Expanding the Talent Base” and “Harnessing the Power of the Region’s Unique Offerings.”

“The recognition Vantiv has received in 2017 undoubtedly points to the incredible talents of our employees,” said Stephanie Ferris, CFO of Vantiv. “From developing some of the most innovative payments solutions for our clients to raising money for local charities, like our annual United Way campaign, Vantiv’s employees lead the charge in advancing our company.”

This news only adds to the incredible momentum Vantiv has built up so far in 2017. The company has been recognized with a number of significant awards this year for its continued work providing smarter, faster, easier payments that try to solve the problems of today, like fraud protection for credit unions.

Vantiv began the year by being named the number one merchant acquirer in the U.S., with purchase transactions of 21.2 billion in 2016. Then, over the summer, Forbes named Vantiv as one of its Fast Tech 25 companies for the second time, proving Vantiv to be one of the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. among the likes of LinkedIn and Apple. Additionally, Vantiv received the NAFCU Innovation Award for its OmniShield fraud protection services as well as the honor of Best Processor in the Card-Not-Present Awards. The winner of the Ignite Action Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on October 25th in Cincinnati.
