Employees from the Greater Cincinnati area show the value of giving back to the community
CINCINNATI, March 3, 2017 – Vantiv, Inc. (NYSE: VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology solutions for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, announced today its Cincinnati and Florence, Ky. employees raised more than $73,000 for ArtsWave, which supports more than 100 local arts organizations throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
"ArtsWave is delighted by the results of Vantiv's campaign and appreciates all the efforts made by volunteers to engage the company,” said Alecia Kintner, president and CEO of ArtsWave. “Most of all we appreciate the hundreds of Vantiv employees who contributed personally to the ArtsWave Campaign this year. They are helping to make a more vibrant and connected community through the arts."
This year, Vantiv’s two week campaign offered a variety of ways for employees to take part including a lunch and learn, a social media contest, and visits from local artists and the Cincinnati Reds mascot, Mr. Redlegs. In all, several hundred employees donated to the campaign, which supports Greater Cincinnati where Vantiv is headquartered. Many employees also chose to double their donation through the VantivGives Matching Gift Program.
“Vantiv is proud to support ArtsWave, which is making Greater Cincinnati an even better place to live and work,” said Mark Heimbouch, chief operating officer of Vantiv and an ArtsWave Board member. “Vantiv’s team members are actively involved in our community, and we are proud to do our part in building a vibrant, inclusive community.”
