Vantiv Presents Smarter, Faster, Easier Payments at Money20/20

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 23, 2015Vantiv, Inc. (NYSE: VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology solutions for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, today announced it is showcasing Smarter, Faster and Easier Payments at Money20/20. Money20/20 is one of the largest global events focused on showcasing payments and financial services innovations.

“Because payments innovation is in our DNA, we kick off Money20/20 on Saturday morning as a sponsor of the 2015 Hackathon,” said Matt Ozvat, vice president of developer integrations at Mercury, a Vantiv company. “Our goal is to help our customers enable great experiences at the point-of-sale, so our challenge to the 800 developers in the Hackathon is to bring exciting products, services and solutions to the market focused on virtual reality, internet of things and wearables. We can’t wait to see how these bright, creative and passionate developers will push the envelope.”

The 24 hour Hackathon challenges developers to create a product that simplifies how people buy, sell or pay with the Vantiv APIs. Vantiv will provide Apple Watches, Raspberry Pi’s, Fitbits and virtual reality kits to the developers, that are theirs to keep whether they win the challenge or not. This is the second year Vantiv has sponsored the Money20/20 Hackathon, with the winners being featured in the Vantiv booth along with the products they develop.
