We are thrilled to announce that Kelly Beatty, Worldpay’s Head of Merchant Solutions for Financial Institutions, has joined the Board of Directors for the Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet), as the organization announced in a press release on February 13.
Before moving into this position, Kelly served as an advisor to Wnet for two years. Her involvement in the organization is emblematic of Worldpay’s commitment to our communities around the world. Whether through individual or collective efforts, Worldpay employees use their expertise and winning attitudes to better those around them.
“It’s been a great pleasure to work with Wnet for the past two years,” Beatty said. “I’m honored to be recognized with this appointment. I truly believe in the Wnet philosophy of women bringing women together, and I look forward to contributing to that mission by bringing my experiences to the table and encouraging the women in this network to push the boundaries and succeed.”
Wnet is known for providing mentorship and career enrichment for women at all levels in the payments industry through strong industry programming, mentorship and networking, and the latest additions to their Board of Directors and advisory positions reflect their commitment to maintaining a network of members who are current with trends in the payments industry and who can lend fresh perspectives. Other recent additions to the Board include Theresa Gongora as President of the Executive Committee and Mary Uslander as Secretary and the Mentoring Committee lead.
“Our new and newly elected members are all at the forefront of continuing diversification and broadening inclusivity in both our membership and the industry we represent,” said Wnet Executive Director Lisl Dutterer. “Because our new directors and advisors represent a range of important payment industry sectors, we are well positioned to address our industry's leadership challenges and move forward energetically on our educational initiatives.”
We’re honored to have Kelly on our team, and we’re excited to see the impact she is having as she works to continually help and advance women in the payments industry.
