Introducing Vantiv eProtect iFrame Enhancements

  • Expand customization of the iFrame to align with the rest of your checkout site
  • Simplify the payment experience visually by reducing errors and the time associated with entering cardholder data online
  • Reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions
  • Keep your customers satisfied

In addition to these iFrame enhancements, eProtect ensures that only Vantiv has access to sensitive cardholder data, effectively transferring the risk of capturing and storing cardholder data from you to Vantiv.

Noteworthy Features

Real-Time Inline Field Validations

While traditional web forms use submit-and-refresh rules that respond once you hit the “Submit” button, real-time inline validations can help your customers fill out web forms faster and simpler with fewer errors. Inline field validations help guide your customers with real-time feedback that confirms the inputted cardholder is correct or not. While visual inspection of the web form for defects may be the most basic method of review, customers review forms with inline validations less frequently and for less time, as they are easier to process visually than the forms without inline validations as they don’t have to reread the entire form.

Vantiv has implemented the following UX enhancements to allow customers to review the accuracy of their inputted payment data more easily:

  • Grouping inputted cardholder data to reflect how an issuer has embossed the card range on the actual card
  • Expansion of hosted custom font and payment icons and graphics as pictures go a long way with the customer reinforcing what they’ve keyed non-verbally
  • In the event of a defect, the eProtect iFrame will be responsive and alert the user with an error before they are navigated to other pages through the checkout experience

As a result of these enhancements, transactions can be more successful, less error-prone, and more satisfied when they used the forms with inline validation.
