Vantiv iQ for eCommerce Data Availability Change

Currently, our Vantiv iQ for eCommerce analytics and reporting system stores all transactional and summary level data in perpetuity. As we researched latency issues in 2016, we found that maintaining this large amount of data was one of the causes for slow performance. Additionally, the maintenance required to keep this volume of data secure grows more complex as the amount increases.  

As a result, we are changing our policy when it comes to data storage.  

Starting Feb. 23, 2017, Vantiv iQ for eCommerce will only maintain 24 months’ worth of transactional data. Summary data will remain available for the extent of your processing with Vantiv.  

(PLEASE NOTE: Vantiv iQ for Core is NOT impacted by this change.)    

Any report or export that shows individual transaction detail will be limited and any attempt to access data older than 24 months will result in no data returned.
