Updating Date and Time

Setting Date and Time via Telium Manager


Hypercom

  1. Press Initialize and then Enter
  2. The terminal will dial out for approximately 1minute
  3. Once “Transaction Complete” flashes on the screen, press Cancel and verify correct time

Hypercom 4100, 42XX Series

  1. From the idle prompt, press Function then key in 10 then press Enter 
  2. Enter password 0000 if prompted 
  3. The terminal will display “Enter Date MMDDYY” as well as the date currently set. Key in the correct date using the MMDDYY format then press Enter 
  4. The terminal will display “Enter Time HHMM” and display the time currently set. Key in the correct time using the HHMM format then press Enter 
  5. The terminal will return to the idle screen with the correct date and time

Tranz 330, 380, 380x2, 420, 460 and Zon Jr.

  1. Press down the * and 3 at the same time
  2. Press the ALPHA key
  3. Key in the full year and press Enter    
  4. Key in the 2 digit day and press Enter
  5. Key in the 2 digit month and press Enter
  6. Key in the hour (0-24) and press Enter
  7. Key in the minutes (2 digits) and press Enter
  8. Key in 00 for seconds and press Enter
  9. New time and date will display

Verifone
Omni 396 and 3200, 3200SE, 3210

  1. Press the MORE key twice  (Key directly under arrow on screen)
  2. Press the key under OTHER SET-UP
  3. Key in the password (1alpha alpha 66831) if it prompts and press Enter
  4. Press the MORE key five times
  5. Press the key by “TIME/DATE”
  6. Key in the current date in MM/DD/YYYY format and press Enter
  7. New time and date will display

Verifone
Omni 470

  1. Press ENTER and then 9
  2. Key in password (1alpha alpha 66831) and press Enter
  3. Use the # key to scroll to “TIME/DATE”
  4. Press ENTER
  5. Key in current date in MM/DD/YYYY format and press Enter
  6. Key in time in HH:MM:SS format and press Enter
  7. New Time and Date will display

Verifone
Omni 37XX and VX5XX Terminals

 

Omni 37XX

  1. Press the key under the down arrow on the screen twice (Purple key with NEXT or SCROLL above it)
  2. Press F4 to enter “OTHER SET-UP”
  3. Key in the password (1alpha alpha 66831) and press Enter
  4. Press the purple NEXT/SCROLL key again 5 times to get to DATE/TIME and then press F2
  5. Key in the correct date in MM/DD/YYYY format and press Enter
  6. Key in the correct time in HH:MM:SS format and press Enter
  7. Press the Cancel key to get back out to the main screen

Verifone VX680, VX520 (except Cash Advance)

  1. Press [Enter]
  2. Press F2 for Setup
  3. If prompted, key in the password 1 Alpha Alpha 6 6 8 3 1 then press the green [Enter] key; otherwise, continue to step 4.
  4. Press [Scroll Down] (Far Left Purple Button under the Down Arrow on the screen) four times.
  5. Press F1 for Date/Time
  6. Key in the correct date in MM/DD/YYYY format then press the green [Enter] key.
  7. Key in the correct time in HH:MM:SS format (in Military Time, use 00 for seconds) then press the green [Enter] key.
  8. Press the red [Cancel] key until you return to the main screen.

Verifone VX 520 Cash Advance

  1. Press F2 and F4 at the same time.
  2. If prompted, key in the password 1 Alpha Alpha 6 6 8 3 1 then press the green [Enter] key; otherwise continue to step 3.
  3. Press [Scroll Down] (Far Left Purple Button under the Down Arrow on the screen)
  4. Press '3' for Clock.
  5. Press '2' for Edit Time.
  6. Key in the correct time in HH:MM:SS format (in Military Time, use 00 for seconds) then press the green [Enter] key.
  7. The terminal will display the update time if successfully entered. Press the red [Cancel] key three times.
  8. Press '3' for Restart.
  9. Once the terminal reboots press F3 for PayCtrlr to re-enter the Cash Advance application.

Verifone Vx510/570/610

  1. Press the key under the down arrow on the screen until you see Other Setup
  2. Select Other Setup
  3. If prompted, key in the password 1 Alpha Alpha 6 6 8 3 1 then press [Enter]; otherwise, continue to step 4
  4. Press the key under the down arrow on the screen until you see Date/Time
  5. Select Date/Time
  6. Key in the correct date in MM/DD/YYYY format then press the green [Enter] key.
  7. Key in the correct time in HH:MM:SS format (in Military Time, use 00 for seconds) then press the green [Enter] key.
  8. Press the red [Cancel] key until you return to the main screen.
    *If this fails follow the VX680, VX520 (except Cash Advance) instructions.

Nurit Terminals

  1. Press MENU/ESC key
  2. Press 5 and then 1
  3. Terminal will display date and time, press Enter to make changes
  4. Key the date in MM/DD/YY format and press Enter
  5. Key the time in HH:MM:SS format and press Enter
  6. Terminal will display the date and time, press MENU/ESC to go back to the main screen

  1. Press 0
  2. Key in password and press Enter
  3. Select “Utility”
  4. Select “Configuration”
  5. Select “Set Date/Time”
  6. Select “Set Date/Time Manually”
  7. Select “Time Zone” by pressing the appropriate key.
  8. Key in the correct date using MM/DD/YYYY format and press Enter
  9. Key the correct time in HH:MM format and press Enter
  10. Select “AM” or “PM” by pressing the appropriate key

Ingenico

  1. From the idle prompt or screen saver, Press the [F] key
  2. If prompted, Key in Admin Password then press [Enter]
  3. Select “TELIUM MANAGER”
  4. Select “Initialization”
  5. Select “Parameters”
  6. Select “Date and Time”
  7. Select from the following options as needed:
    • Set Date: key in date in the format displayed then press [Enter] to return to Date and Time menu
    • Set Time:  Key in time in 24 hour (military) format then press [Enter] to return to the Date and Time menu.
      • HH:MM
      • 00:00 to 23:59 are acceptable values
    • Date Format: Choose between the following formats then press [Enter] accept change and return to Initialization Menu.
      • DD/MM/YYYY
      • MM/DD/YYYY
      • YYYY/MM/DD
      • DD/MM/YYYY
  8. Once all necessary changes have been made, Press [Cancel] until you return to the idle prompt. 

Setting Date and Time via Telium Manager

An administrative function to set the terminal date and time is to be added in a future phase.
At this time, the user must set the date and time via the Telium Manager.
At the payment idle screen, press [F] key and then enter administrative password to exit to the Telium Manager menu.
